Dear visitors, welcome to the PETROF Museum!
In one place, you’ll discover over 160 years of the PETROF brand’s story-its key milestones and the fascinating journey of how a piano is made, from design and construction to the final stages of production. The exhibition features authentic instruments, historical posters and photographs, awards, and other one-of-a-kind artefacts. The exhibition includes the oldest piano from 1865 as well as the most modern instruments, including the futuristic Magic Egg upright piano.
You can also explore the exhibition with an audio guide in four languages on your smartphone. The narration is led by Antonín Petrof himself, the brand’s founder-brought to life by actor Jan Bílek.
A unique part of the exhibition is an audiovisual feature where music comes to life—also in an interactive way: the notes you play on a piano transform into an abstract visual artwork, which you can have emailed to you as a personal souvenir of your visit.
