If you are interested in a tour of the company, take advantage of our PETROF Museum tour, visit the PETROF Gallery or enjoy a tour of the current exhibition in the National Technical Museum in Prague.

About us

Dear visitors,

It is my pleasure to warmly welcome to the PETROF Museum website in the name of my family and our company.

More than 160 years have passed since the day when Antonín, the company’s founder, built his first grand piano. Today, the long-renowned PETROF company delights pianists all over the world. Under the leadership of Antonín’s relatives, his wife Marie, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and also 6th generation of the Petrofs, the company has achieved fame for manufacturing more than 636,000 pieces of musical instruments. For the 10 years of its existence, the Museum has already welcomed more than 20,000 visitors worldwide.

Let me invite you on a short trip into the company’s history along with an attractive show of piano making.

If we manage to meet your expectations, we will be glad to hear your impressions after you sit at the piano and play your favourite tune or melody.
